RIYADH: The Philippine Embassy recently sent an embassy on wheels (EOW) team to the Hail region to render consular services to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the region.
The EOW team, with Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal as the team leader, assisted 542 OFWs.
Dingal, on behalf of Charge d’Affaires Iric Arribas Cruz, expressed thanks to the Filipino community which helped the team during the two-day consular mission.
Aside from Dingal, the team had Jose Rico R. Laurel, Francia R. Ybanez, Gloria Jean Zafra, Eujames C. Acopan, Ramil E. Arana and Acas Bayabao, Jr.
The embassy also conducted its fourth Overseas Voting (OV) registration outreach. The two-day registration outreach was conducted parallel to the EOW mission. The OV team registered 275 new voters, of which, 37 were for certifications.
The Philippine Embassy invited all OFWs in the region to register as overseas voters so that they can exercise their right of suffrage in the senatorial elections in 2019.
