Donald Trump and some members of his cabinet have come under heavy fire in recent months due to alleged links with Russia.
But now Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has stepped into the furor with a comedic tweet and promptly scored an invite from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Parker shared a meme online this week with an image of her TV character Carrie Bradshaw who often wondered about various life issues in the hit series.
“I couldn’t help but wonder — had the Russian ambassador been meeting with everyone except me?” the tongue-in-cheek meme said.
Surprisingly, Moscow’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent her a message back.

“If #SarahJessicaParker desperately wants to meet Russian Ambassador to US — anything is possible. Sergey Ivanovich will be happy,” read the tweet.
Parker has yet to respond to the invitation.
