Cadillac is celebrating Saudi Arabian talents and inspiring others through a recent collaboration with Hussain Daghriri, that saw the storytelling photographer embark on a road trip across the southern region of Saudi Arabia.
Hussain’s six-day, 5,000-km road trip took him to a number of different villages and cities, experiencing the rich cultures of Taif, Abha and Jazan among many others, each with its own traditions, culinary dishes and folklore dances.
The talented photographer captured the essence of many of the cultures he saw in his trip through a series of images that are now on exhibition at his first solo event outside the Kingdom, titled “Emotion & Motion” in Dubai’s Khazzan X Cadillac in Khazzan Park. The show specifically highlights the various dances of the southern region of the Kingdom.
“Cadillac is a brand that caters to the new generation, who appreciate design and technology and look for ways to stand out from the crowd,” said Nadim Ghrayeb, regional sales and marketing manager, Cadillac Middle East.
“As a brand we are continually celebrating breaking boundaries and self-expression. With this is mind we are always looking for great talents like Hussain to collaborate with and promote their exceptional work as well as provide them with a platform to showcase their talent,” said Ghrayeb.
Daghriri said: “The inspiration behind my exhibition was to bring awareness to our rich culture, and to inspire other young talented Saudis. The art scene is growing in Saudi Arabia and I am honored to share my work, and give an insight about our culture in my first solo exhibition here in Dubai at Khazzan X Cadillac.”
