Eight in 10 Saudi men ‘are interested in marriage rehabilitation program’

JEDDAH: More men than women are interested in a marriage rehabilitation program, according to survey of Saudis by the Affection Association for Family Development in Makkah.
It found that 79 percent of Saudi men are interested in the special rehabilitation program, compared to just 21 percent of women.
Faisal bin Sayf Al-Din Al-Sammanudi, president of the association, said that the family rehabilitation program has seen the participation of 3,231 young people, who benefited from 125 training courses over the past year.
Al-Sammanudi explained that a study revealed the positive impact of the domestic rehabilitation program, which includes training on skills to deal with family problems and the associated psychological and social aspects.
The association announced 31 sustainable development projects in its operational plan for 2017, to serve 50,500 families.
