Annual awards honor excellence at PIS Jubail

Pakistan International School Jubail held its 27th annual day on Jan. 6 to honor outstanding students.
Ambassador Manzoor-Ul-Haq was the chief guest and Link Officer Shah Faisal Karkar was the guest of honor.
School Principal Khawar Hussain welcomed his counterparts from the schools in Alkhobar and Riyadh and other distinguished guests.
The kindergarten children, dressed in colorful robes, welcomed the distinguished guests.
The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Na’t.
The principal presented the school’s annual report, highlighting the students’ academic excellence in the Federal Board Exams at secondary and higher secondary levels.
The principal highlighted the addition of new blocks to the school.
He congratulated the students, who excelled in exams.
He appreciated the efforts of the managing committee in running the school’s affairs efficiently.
Distinguished guests awarded trophies and shields to outstanding students for achievements in curricular activities, co-curricular activities and exams.
The chief guest awarded shields to the editors of the school magazine and appreciation certificates to staff members.
The chief guest also awarded the souvenirs to Hussain Al-Magbool, assistant director of foreign schools and International program, distinguished guests and the school principal.
The principal presented the souvenir to the chief guest on behalf of the staff and the students.
The ambassador inaugurated the school’s new building.
He congratulated the meritorious students, conveyed his greetings to the principal and the staff for organizing the beautiful ceremony.
He praised the school management and the staff for their efforts to boost the level of learning at the school.
The chief guest congratulated the principal, school staff and the students for bringing out the school magazine’s second volume.
He called on them to continue this practice in order to develop the students’’ creative skills. He also thanked and congratulated the parents.
The ambassador assured his fullest support to raise the school’s educational standards.
On Jan. 7, another prize distribution ceremony was held at the Girl’s Wing.
Chief guest Nargis Faisal was welcomed by Fariha Khawar, vice principal of girls’ wing, along with the staff.
Students presented colorful performances.
The chief guest gave away the prizes to outstanding students.
She also distributed shields and certificates to staff members.
The ceremony end with the national anthem of the Pakistan.
