Whipping up a smoothie instead of a brew can be a satisfying alternative.
Read on to find some quick and easy breakfast smoothie recipes that will have you up and about in no time. If you ever plan on skipping the most important meal of the day, maybe it is time to drink your breakfast instead! Smoothies are healthy, refreshing and will promise you a perfect start to the day.

Peach Cobbler


Ingredients:
2 cups frozen peach slices
1-1½ cups milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
1-2 tablespoons honey

Instructions:
Add the peach slices, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, oats, flax seed, and honey to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Add additional milk as needed to reach desired consistency.
Serve and enjoy!

Coffee and oat


Ingredients:
1 banana, previously sliced and frozen
½ cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
½ cup milk
¼ cup rolled oats

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth, adding more milk as necessary to reach a consistency to your liking.
Top with a sprinkle of chocolate.
Serve.

Pomegranate-Berry


Ingredients:
½ cup chilled pomegranate juice
½ cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
1 cup frozen mixed berries

Instructions:
In blender, place juice, yogurt, and berries.
Cover and blend until pureed. Serve.

Sunshine Lemon

Ingredients:
1 cup vanilla yogurt
¾ cup ice cubes
¼ cup orange juice
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons raw honey
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve cold.

Pumpkin Spice

Ingredients:
4 frozen bananas
¾ cup of pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons pumpkin spice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla
2-2½ cup milk

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
Add as much milk as you need to reach a smooth and creamy consistency.

Pour and enjoy.

Spinach and kiwi

Ingredients:
1 kiwi, peeled and cut into chunks
1 banana, peeled, frozen, and cut into chunks
1 cup loosely packed fresh spinach
1 cup unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds (or 1-2 tablespoons gluten-free oats)
Granola (optional)

Instructions:
Combine the kiwi, banana, spinach, almond milk, chia seeds, and ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass.
Sprinkle with the granola.
