Bollywood actresses Kirron Kher and Gul Panag were contesting elections from Chandigarh. Gul Panag had stepped into the elections for the first time through AAP Party but lost to Kirron Kher. Gul Panag used to campaign on bikes, trying to connect with the youth, while Kirron Kher impressed audiences with her speeches. An excited husband, Anupam Kher had posted on Twitter, “Good days have come.”

Paresh Rawal stepped into elections from Ahmedabad. The actor was contesting through BJP ticket.
