This is with reference to the report “India poll: Communal leader spits venom against Muslims” (April 22). This shows the true mentality of the saffron brigade.
Despite condemnation by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), it is an open secret that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the BJP and their likes follow the same ideology.
Whenever these elements get the chance, they instigate their followers against minority communities particularly Muslims. It is very surprising that the Indian government did not take any action against this man. It has been observed that the central government currently led by Congress has always shown reluctance in taking action against fascist parties like the BJP, VHP, RSS and the Bajrang Dal. It also indicates that the Congress has a soft corner for such parties. Observers may recall that Owaisi was arrested in Hyderabad for speaking against Modi but these hatemongers keep spitting venom against Muslims and nobody takes any action against them.
