BISJ honors high-ranking students

The Bangladesh International School in Jeddah (BISJ) has presented gold medals and certificates to top students and awards to all the successful students of CIE, IGSCE and A-level exams held in June 2013.
The event was organized in the school campus with Mohammed Nazmus Sadat Salim, consul, education, as the chief guest.
Kazi Neamul Bashir, school chairman; Jalal Uddin, vice chairman; Amir Mohammed, head of the school governing board; Golam Sarwar, head of finance; and Rumi Sayeed, media coordinator of the school, were honored for encouraging the students.
Salim congratulated the students, teachers and parents for their hard work and good performance.
He advised the students to continue their hard work as it will help them in their career.
Bashir urged the students to consider this as the beginning of the next phase, as they need to go a long way and overcome many hurdles and obstacles.
Mohammed Abdul Kaium, vice principal and in-charge of the school, welcomed the guests and announced the outstanding results of the top achievers of the BISJ-ES. He congratulated them and their parents.
He said 55 percent of the students got A+ and A in IGCSE exams, ten students of A levels got more than three As out of four subjects, four students secured high ranking in ICE exams where two top students ranked best in the world and Saudi Arabia and two students stood out as best in the Kingdom.
Conchita Rahman Khan got the award of best across and IGCSE subject and also 3rd rank in the world for food and nutrition received three gold medals for her success and best student of the school.
Esha M. Shah received two gold medals and secured top position in English in the Western Region.
Shahiq Shahidullah Sarker stood second in accounting in the world and top position in the Western Region and received gold medal for his achievement in the school.
Nihan Hassan Zaim secured third position in the Kingdom achieving best four A levels. The other top achiever of the school was Naureen Islam.
