Saudi Arabian national carrier flynas has signed an agreement with SANAD Children’s Cancer Charity, which has the support of Princess Adela bint Abdullah, chairman of SANAD Children’s Charity Organization, whereby flynas will support the charity through special initiatives including free tickets for the children and their families.
Lauding the efforts of flynas in supporting the Saudi community through social responsibility programs, Princess Adela noted that this is the third year of cooperation between flynas and SANAD, adding that this year’s partnership features a new vision and will see more extensive engagement in the various campaigns rolled out by the charity organization.
Princess Adela underscored the importance of flynas’ role in supporting SANAD’s efforts to give hope to each child suffering from cancer by creating an environment based on encouragement and fulfilling the needs of the children and their families throughout the treatment period until recovery.
In addition, flynas will sponsor events organized by SANAD in hospitals for the purpose of boosting the children’s morale and bringing happiness and joy into their lives. The airline will also support media campaigns to create greater awareness of the charitable work done by SANAD and encourage the community to participate in their initiatives.
The date of the announcement was selected to highlight Children’s Cancer World Day on Feb.15 on which SANAD will launch an extensive campaign with flynas as the diamond sponsor.
