Nassif, accompanied by Tawfiq Rashid, director-general of Technical Affairs, and other specialist engineers with the Royal Commission, first visited the project site of the expansion of the medical center of the Royal Commission in Yanbu.
The expansion project has been split into three contracts. The first contract involves the main building, which has four floors spanning a total area of 24,160 sqm.
The second contract is for the services building and the third includes sewer lines, irrigation, rain and water lines, power lines, telephone and fire alarms. The project is expected to be completed and the building opened by the end of the first quarter of 2015.

The Royal Commission began work on the intersection consisting of a double bridge reinforced by concrete to eliminate traffic lights and reduce traffic congestion. The intersection is expected to become operational by the end of the third quarter of 2014.
