Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has sent National Day greetings and congratulations to the leaders and citizens of Saudi Arabia.
The message from the Bahraini king was delivered by Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, the country’s prime minister, at a special function held by the Saudi Embassy in Manama on Monday.
“I send greetings on behalf of our King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and the Bahraini people to the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, Crown Prince Salman, the royal family and the people of Saudi Arabia and wish them many more (good) years,” the Bahraini prime minister told Arab News at the function. “Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have a deep history and your celebration is our celebration.”
He said Saudi Arabia has supported Bahrain many times over the years. He praised the Saudi leadership for developing the country and assisting Arabs and Muslims across the world.
“I am happy to join you in this great event and wish everyone in the Kingdom prosperity and happiness.”
Riyadh bin Saud Al-Khinini, Saudi charge d’affaires in Manama, thanked the prime minister for attending the National Day ceremony.
“The two kingdoms have a strong and tight relationship. I wish Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the royal family and all Saudis continued prosperity, progress and stability.”
