Sixty-one fuel stations have been developed and five were shut down for not complying with the fuel stations development and improvement program.
Faris Al-Oraig, chairperson of Dammam’s western municipality, said that progress was being made to develop and enhance fuel stations in Dammam.
The development and improvement program was launched in 2010 throughout the Kingdom, which aims to improve fuel stations in order to meet changes and developments, as well as to enhance progress.
“There are 97 licensed fuel stations, which are located within our zone in the East Dammam Municipality,” he said.
