PISJ-ES honors top-ranking students

The Pakistan International School-Jeddah (English Section) celebrated the accomplishment of its top students and honored them at the annual award distribution ceremony on Saturday.
Among the prominent guests at the event were Pakistani Ambassador Muhammad Naeem Khan and Consul General Aftab Khokhar.
The program commenced with the recitation of the holy verses from Qur’an by Sohaib Khalid. It was followed by the national anthems of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
PISJ-ES Principal Sen. Sehar Kamran was delighted with the students’ academic performance.
“It is a great pleasure for me to be standing here today among my students … They represent the bright future of our country,” she said. “Today is the day to acknowledge and celebrate the excellent accomplishment and achievement of my students.”
Sen. Kamran reminded the students of the core principles of Pakistan’s architect Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. “Unity, faith and discipline should be your guiding principles as well,” she said. “Never forget your obligations toward your country; have a big vision to achieve your goals and serve Pakistan; it will make your life more meaningful and purposeful,”
She said her bond with the school and here students has always been strong. “This keeps me connected and committed to the cause of education, no matter how many ladders I climb … PISJ-ES will always remain my top priority and center of my attention.” Ambassador Khan praised the school for outstanding results.
“It is a matter of great pleasure to attend the annual awards ceremony. The annual event is indeed outstanding and carried out in a professional and disciplined manner. I am impressed by the performance of the students. It reflects their talent and shows that the principal and the teachers have worked diligently in supervising the students,” he said.
He congratulated the students and their parents for their success.
“My advice to students is to work hard, focus on education, become good Muslims and refrain from wasting your precious time,” said Khan.
Well-known Saudi poet Ali Al-Jasser appreciated Sen. Kamran for her book on Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.
