The Pakistani Embassy will host a five-day Food and Mango Festival, which will be inaugurated on June 24 by Saud Hammoud, secretary general of the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Muhammad Naeem Khan, ambassador of Pakistan. The festival will be held at the Riyadh Palace Hotel.
Waseem Hayat Bajwa, commercial attaché at the embassy, said the aim of the event is to promote Pakistani food and fruits in the Kingdom.
He said only invited guests will be allowed on the first day of the festival. The second day will be for women, and from the third day it will be open to all.
There will also be a raffle draw on the final day of the festival offering fabulous prizes.
A number of companies have sponsored the event, including Mehran Spice and Food Company, Queen’s Way, Iqbal Rice Mills, Jam-e-Shereen, Raqam, Global Mentor Technologies, Pakistan Investor Forum, Mak Royal and Saleh Abdulaziz Abahsain Company.
