Al-Faisal University is preparing for the historic graduation of its first batch of 35 medicine and life science students at the Princess Haya Auditorium on May 15.
A total of 139 undergraduate and postgraduate students will graduate. This includes 26 men and 29 women students with master of business administration (MBA) degrees, 17 men and eight women with undergraduate business qualifications and 25 graduating from the college of engineering.
Adel A. Rajab, senior marketing and public relations director, said: “It is going to be a unique event for the university because we have the first batch of medical and science students graduating. We are not looking at a great event, but an outstanding one." He said the graduation ceremony fulfils the "dream of a great leader who led Saudi Arabia with a vision focused on making education the strongest weapon for its youth.”
Al-Faisal University was established by the King Faisal Foundation in 2008. It offers four undergraduate programs — medicine, engineering, science and business — and an MBA, a postgraduate degree. The university is located in Riyadh. Early admission starts next month.
