Danube Group launches new facility in Makkah

Danube Group, a leading construction and home interior company in UAE, recently announced the official opening of its new showroom in Makkah.
It was inaugurated by Ali Al Shahri, on behalf of Osama Fadl Al-Bar, head of Baladiya, Makkah Region, in the presence of Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group and other officials from the management.
“The construction and interior design industry in Saudi Arabia is witnessing a rapid growth. The new showroom is strategically timed complementing current ongoing projects in the country,” said Ali Al-Shahri.
“Moreover, Danube is known to provide world-class products to its customers and the introduction of the new showroom will facilitate easy transactions for the developers in the locality. We would like to extend our best wishes to Danube Group and wish them success in their new venture,” he said.
Located on the main high way of Makkah-Taif, Al-Saraya Street, the new facility by Danube Group is spread across 30,000 square feet with an independent warehouse and a well-designed showroom.
The showroom is strategically located to build closer links with the customers in Makkah and its adjoining areas by synergizing the product offerings to the needs of the customers.
With the launch of the new facility in Makkah, the designers, carpenters and contractors will now be able to view the extensive range of steel, plywood, film face plywood, white wood, cement boards, gypsum, ceiling tiles etc. in a convenient location.
Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group, said: “With the new location we anticipate new clientele from the increased foot traffic this location receives and aim to further establish our presence in the region.”
This new showroom is an addition to the two already established Danube’s showrooms at Bawadi in Jeddah.
Taking advantage of domestic infrastructure opportunities and to reinforcing its position in the market, Danube Group will open more outlets to reach its target of 1 billion USD turnover and 75 showrooms by 2015 across the MENA region offering new and innovative products.
