The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, one of the region’s most popular full-size SUVs, promises more functionality, greater refinement, new safety features, and an increased range of advanced technologies. Together, these specs help cement Chevrolet’s leadership position – and its status as the go-to brand for full-size SUVs. Introduced to the Middle East market in the summer of 2014, the all-new 2015 Tahoe was received with high praise across the region. Building on this success, Chevrolet is now offering consumers the popular Z71 package, designed to meet their unique demands and lifestyle needs. The Z71 package adds specifically designed off-roading features. Drivers now have another option when choosing the full-size Chevrolet SUV that’s perfect for their lifestyle.

• The toughest, smartest and most capable model ever, the all-new 2015 Ford F-150, has arrived in the Middle East, setting a new standard for the future of trucks. • The 10th presentation of the annual Automotive Innovations Awards for exceptional innovative achievement in the automotive industry awarded a number of prizes for Volkswagen Group. VW secured the award for “Most Innovative Car Manufacturer 2015” as well as receiving a special award for “Most Innovative Car Manufacturer of the Decade.” Volkswagen Group developers also achieved first place in the categories for “Networked Vehicle,” “Vehicle Concepts,” “Conventional Drives” and “Safety Systems.” The Automotive Innovations Awards are presented each year by the Center of Automotive Management (CAM) in cooperation with the auditing and consultancy firm PwC. The Volkswagen Group stands for superior technological expertise and a wide portfolio of innovative brands. This was the conclusion of the latest report by the CAM, which this year again names VW as the world’s most innovative automotive company.

• Following the thrilling season opener of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in Great Britain, Audi was unbeatable again in Belgium. On the challenging track at Spa, Marcel Fassler (CH), André Lotterer (D) and Benoit Treluyer (F) proved their class again on clinching their second victory this season and tenth WEC success in total. At the end of May, the track at Le Mans is on Audi Sport’s event calendar. At the official test day on May 31, the new Audi R18 e-tron quattro will have its first outing on the ‘Circuit des 24 Heures’ that is open only on the test day and during the race week. Two weeks after the test day, the 24-hour race as the pinnacle event of the FIA WEC season will be held there.
