LG unveils new dishwasher series in KSA

LG Electronics (LG) and United Yousuf Mohammed Naghi Ltd., have launched LG's new series of freestanding dishwashers, which it bills as "the only one of its kind in KSA market."
The machine features LG's True Steam technology, which uses "carefully positioned pressure nozzles" to direct jets of high-temperature steam particles at dishes, thereby cutting through tough soiling and reducing the need for pre-rinsing.
As part of its commitment to green technology and advancement into developing products that have significant health care features, "LG has invested significantly in the home appliance category to ensure we continue to provide consumers with products that fit their lifestyle and provide ease and convenience," said John Lee, president of LG Electronics KSA. "The new LG True Steam Dishwasher is yet another example of how LG is continuing that investment with a product that provides a superior clean with less time and effort," added Lee.
According to LG, each individual drop of water emitted from the dishwasher's built-in steam generator becomes equivalent to 1,600 steam molecules when heated. Once these particles attach to the grease on dishes "temperatures quickly rise to melting point, so by the time the entire cycle is finished, the dishes are spotless," said Sanginn Lee, home appliance product manager of LG Electronics KSA."
The dishwasher also features a SmartRack function that allows users to adjust the basket height to suit larger dishes, as well as an AutoCycle that senses the clarity of water in the dishwasher and automatically adjusts the washing time, temperature and rinse program based on how dirty the dishes are.
Thanks to the TrueSteam Dual Spray cycle, delicate dishes can be placed on the top rack while heavy-duty dishes (which require more cleaning) can be placed on the lower rack - the two levels can then be targeted with different water pressures.
