GCC ministers to focus on industrial map

RIYADH: The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) began yesterday the fourth meeting of Ministers of Industry Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf under the chairmanship of Minister of Commerce and Industry Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the current chairman of the Committee on Industrial Cooperation, and the participation of the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States, Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
They are set to discuss the recommendations of each of the meetings of the preparatory and complementary meetings of the ministries of industry in the GCC states held in Riyadh on Oct. 10 and on April 18 this year. The draft agenda of the ministers of industry includes a number of important topics aimed at achieving greater industrial cooperation in the GCC. The industrial map of the GCC and the proposed amendments to the Law of Industrial Organization will also figure in the discussion.
