Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Saudi Telecom Company (STC) have announced the launch of Tatweer program in Riyadh.
As part of the Tatweer program, 60 young Saudi nationals are selected from the initial list of more than 400 candidates who will receive superior training on various technologies on STC’s BSS Platform.
This group will travel to India for a period of 8 weeks to take part in a 5-week initial learning program at the TCS Corporate University training center, Trivandrum, India. They will then take part in 3 weeks of advanced training at Hyderabad before returning to Saudi Arabia.
In Saudi Arabia, further job training will continue for next 8 months.
Speaking at the event Nasser Al-Nasser, senior VP — technology and operations, STC, congratulated selected young Saudi nationals. This is a very important program to develop people, he said.
He hoped that the trainees’ commitment and knowledge advancement would take the company and the country forward.
Omer Al-Nomany, VP — Information Technology, advised young Saudi graduates to gain technical expertise at the beginning of the career itself and advised them to be more proactive.

It was observed that the young Saudi nationals were thrilled to begin their career with this kind of supportive corporate initiative from TCS and STC.
