REDTAG, described as the value fashion and home lifestyle brand, has opened four more stores in the Saudi Arabian cities of Madinah, Riyadh, Sabya, and Mubarraz, with the aim to satisfy its customers’ growing demand in the Kingdom. These openings are part of the brand’s expansion plan to be easily accessible to all Saudi shoppers even in more remote areas.
REDTAG is now present in 43 towns and cities across the Kingdom and has plans to expand in many more areas in the near future. The brand’s continuing growth target is to increase the number of stores in the Middle East by more than 26 percent within the next two years. In total, 20 more store openings are planned in the GCC by 2016, including in KSA cities such as Riyadh, Baha and Onaiza.
David Pidgeon, chief operating officer, stated: “With four more stores in Saudi Arabia opened last month, we have invested in offering better access to our fashion and home products for all of our customers in the kingdom. Saudi Arabia is a very big value market for our brand and we have managed to penetrate in 43 cities across the country. To further strengthen our position in the region, we aim to add more retail showrooms in Saudi Arabia to be even more connected in smaller towns and cities.”
He added: “The new store openings are in line with our dynamic brand vision to provide a pleasant shopping experience with a great variety of affordable and stylish fashion and home collections to all of our customers across the whole region.”
Out of a total of the brand’s over 170 stores across the Middle East, 101 are currently in the Kingdom with a large presence in other countries, including Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Tunisia, the UAE, Uzbekistan and Yemen.
