Hyatt Regency Makkah remains dedicated to community work

Hyatt Regency Makkah demonstrates that it is consistent with the mission to improve the opportunities and develop activities to connect and serve the community as part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The hotel was keen to raise the awareness in the local community through various cultural activities that contribute to enriching and strengthening members of the community such as the blood donation campaign, which has been held with the participation of all the hotel associates in cooperation with King Abdullah’s Medical City (KAMC). It emphasized the importance of humanitarian work and the hotel’s vital role in inspiring the community.
Hyatt Regency Makkah organized activities and events throughout Ramadan. During this holy month, the hotel arranged a fast-breaking event, inviting a local orphanage to the hotel to enjoy iftar and feel the spirit of Ramadan.
The hotel also arranged more than 2,000 iftar boxes, which were distributed to pilgrims and visitors of the Holy Mosque around iftar time.
An invitation for a group from the media has been considered as well for them to stay in the hotel and enjoy its proximity to the Holy Mosque to perform Umrah.
Rady M. Rady, GM of Hyatt Regency Makkah, said: “The hotel has plans to do more community targeted activities, which will be executed soon. We are keen to establish our role within the community,” adding that the activities held within the last few months were part of that plan. The hotel hopes to emphasize its role by continuing to contribute positively in the community and participate in various fields.
