Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman Furniture Trading, with IKEA Saudi Arabia, sponsored Joy of Jeddah, an event organized by the Marriage and Family Guidance Organization. Saud Al-Sulaiman, CEO of IKEA Saudi Arabia, was delighted to sponsor the event, which took place in Jeddah.
Al-Sulaiman expressed his gratitude to Makkah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah for honoring IKEA’s sponsorship of the marriage ceremony of 1,200 young men and women and said: “Our participation in this event lies in our social responsibility toward our young brothers who wish to celebrate the beginning of their lives with their future loved ones. For the past 30 years, we have been a reliable partner for families across the Kingdom, providing our customers with a unique shopping experience and a vast range of home furnishing products at affordable prices. We strongly believe in communion and the importance of building a society that starts with a solid family nucleus.”
“We are aware that many young couples face obstacles and hardships to achieve their desires, encouraging us to stand with them and support them as they pave the way to building a family and establishing a household,” Al-Sulaiman added.
As a partner, IKEA supported the event with over half a million riyals, gifted to the couples in the form of gift vouchers. They also gave four newlyweds the chance to win a fully furnished and designed room, through a raffle draw that took place at the event.
With the wedding season in the midst, IKEA is offering further support to all newlyweds and other members of the community looking to furnish a household; zero percent interest on six months’ installment, enabling customers to comfortably furnish their homes.
