Capacity Middle East focuses on future challenges

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) provides a platinum sponsorship for Capacity Middle East 2013 Conference, which is currently being held in Dubai. The conference is the region’s most important telecom, Internet and IT convergence in terms of regional telecom market and international capacities outlook.
The conference will host bilateral meetings tackling international telephony, interconnection means and exhibitions representing key regional and international participants.
STC Group Vice President for Wholesale Homoud Mohammed Al-Kusayer provided a perspective on the future challenges posed to the services offered by operators and carriers in the Middle East and the proper means to encounter such challenges at the opening session of the conference. Al-Kusayer opened his speech by focusing on STC's accomplishments and pioneering leadership that turned it into a strategic partner with all regional and local customers.
The conference focuses on the transformations and future challenges posed to the operators and carriers market in the region and some other critical topics related to international capacities, roaming Internet services and inter-regional connections together with other new projects and services, and preparing the region for an expected growth in the 4G network for mobile phones. The conference has the participation of 250 regional and local companies.
