Tang Superhero campaign bears fruit

Tang, a fruit flavored powder beverage from Kraft Foods, has launched its Tang Superhero Campaign with the aim to encourage children across the GCC to take charge and help those less fortunate. With the launch of this initiative, which is held during Ramadan, children of ages 7 to 14 are invited to submit wishes of good deeds they aspire to do during the holy month, with the aim to spread joy and make someone else's life better. It is for the first time that Tang has initiated such a noble initiative at the end of which the brand will help 5 children with the most supported wishes fulfill their good deed aspirations.
Highlighting Tang's commitment to the next generation, Vishal Tikku, GM, Kraft Foods GCC, said, “ With Tang's presence across the region dating back to over five decades, we aim to take an active role in encouraging and guiding the citizens of tomorrow on the importance of giving back. Our campaign is one of the first of its kind in the region.”
Children are invited to participate in the campaign by filling out and decorating a simple digital postcard addressed to Tang with a clearly mentioned aspiration of a good deed they would like to do this Ramadan. They can do so with the help of their parents on Tang Arabia's facebook page. The submitted messages can range from donating groceries to a charity to helping keep their city clean.
From today (Sunday) until July 31, fans will be invited to vote for postcards with the most inspiring good deeds. Five winners will be announced Tang Heroes on Aug. 1 on the Tang Arabia Facebook page and the brand will help all winners fulfill their good deed aspiration in the value of $ 5,000.
