RIYADH: Prince Khaled bin Sultan, deputy minister of defense and chairman of the board of trustees of Prince Sultan Charitable Foundation, said the foundation had completed construction of a 200 housing-unit project in Al-Laith.
Prince Khaled, who was speaking after presiding over the 17th meeting of the board in Jeddah, said another housing project composed of 250 units in Tabuk region would be completed within one year.
He added that Prince Sultan Cardiology Center in Al-Kharj would also be completed, as heirs of Prince Sultan agreed to fund the project through the foundation.
Elaborating on the work of the foundation, Prince Khaled said a workshop had been formed to work on how to develop the path of the foundation during the coming period.
Earlier, Prince Khaled launched the website of the foundation after more pages had been added and translated into English. The site contains documentary films and other items on the foundation’s projects, services and achievements.
