Blackmailer gets jail sentence

TABUK: A judge in Tabuk fined a veterinarian and sentenced him to four months in jail and deportation after finding him guilty of blackmailing a woman in an attempt to get her to have sex with him.

The veterinarian, an expatriate Arab, was accused of blackmailing a Saudi girl living in the Eastern Province by threatening to publish her pictures on the Internet if she did not do what he says.

At first he denied the charges saying that he wanted to marry her. Police showed evidence from his computer and SMS messages sent from his mobile phone. The veterinarian later confessed to his crime.
