Saudi sisters steal money from shop

Four Saudi sisters aged between 19 and 23 entered an ice cream shop in the southern city of Jazan, physically attacked the salesman, and stole an amount of SR 8,000 and a mobile phone, but they were later tracked down, the police announced.
Quoting the spokesman of Jazan police Maj. Abdullah Al-Qarni, local newspapers on Thursday said the police patrols in the city received information that four Saudi sisters broke the glass of the ice cream shop, and stole money as well as a mobile phone after beating up the salesman.
He said the four thieves were caught by a police patrol and detained at the police station, where they were being questioned.
The spokesman did not reveal the identity or nationality of the salesman but said he received treatment for minor injuries in hospital and was later discharged.
The salesman told the police that the four sisters entered the shop as normal customers, and one of them asked for a bottle of water. “When I went to the fridge to bring the water, a second sister opened the cash register and took all the money, which was SR 8,000, and a mobile phone,” he said.
He said the sisters physically attacked him before leaving the shop.
