JEDDAH: MB Stars, MCH Blazers, ARM United, Universal United and Pak Shaheen prevailed over their opponents during the fourth week matches of the Twenty20 Saudi Cup Cricket Tournament sponsored by Reel & Rom and UT Lines and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association.
MB Stars routed National Automobile Juffali by 73 runs mainly due to Hafiz Zia’s quick-fire 108 runs (10 fours and 9 sixes), My Care Hala Blazers thumped Jamoom Fighters by 10 wickets as Rizwan bagged 4 for 11 including a hat trick, ARM United made short work of Reel & Rom by 6 wickets, thanks to Nazeer Ahmed’s unbeaten 119 runs (12 fours and 6 sixes), Universal United raced to an exciting three-wicket win over Jamoom Tiger led by Umair unbeaten 141 (14 fours and 10 sixes) while Pak Shaheen crushed Gujarat XI by 93 runs.
In other matches, AJA got the better of ICAD by 30 runs, MCH Premier stumbled against Saudi German Hospital before they won by 4 wickets, Hala International School upset Faisal CC by 60 runs, Hyderabad Sharks overcame Peeran-XI by 44 runs, Saudi Oil outclassed Ittihad by 68 runs and Ace Travel beat Lahore Badshah by 7 wickets.
