They will guide pilgrims on the correct methods of doing the rituals according to Islamic Shariah, Haia President Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humain Al-Humain announced Wednesday.
“The participation of the Haia is in cooperation and coordination with other government departments to serve the guests of God and provide them with necessary facilities to enable them to perform the fifth pillar of Islam in ease and comfort,” he said.
Al-Humain said the Haia members would focus on providing religious guidance, preventing religious and ethical mistakes and showing pilgrims in a nice manner the best methods of doing the Haj rites.
He said the members and the interpreters were rigorously trained on all Haj activities and the etiquette of dealing with pilgrims to ensure that they do their Haj rituals correctly. He added that the Haia team would be working among pilgrims and the guidance centers.
Al-Humain lauded the excellent arrangements for the Haj provided by the government and praised the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the crown prince and the second deputy premier to ensure the comfort of the guests of God.
