“I am expressionless. I am experiencing a new kind of happiness,” Lama wrote to her brother, who was not able to visit his father with his sisters because the US Embassy in Riyadh did not grant him a visa.
Al-Turki was sentenced in August 2006 to 28 years in prison on 12 felony counts of false imprisonment, unlawful sexual contact with his Indonesian housekeeper, theft and criminal extortion. His attempt to be paroled  this month was rejected.
Lama and her sisters  Nura, Arwa and Ruba arrived at Denver airport last Saturday and were allowed to visit their father in his prison for three hours.
The prisoner's son Turki told Al-Watan this was not the first time that his sisters were visiting their father. But this visit came after a long time.
Turki told the newspaper that the American authorities refused to parole his father but added that efforts were being made with his lawyer to find a way out.
