Monshaat’s Tomoh supports the listing of 40 Saudi companies on Nomu

RIYADH: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority-developed program “Tomoh” has supported 40 companies until listing on Saudi Arabia’s parallel market “Nomu,” according to what the authority told Al-Eqtisadiah.

The initiative, dedicated to entrepreneurs, supports high-growth small and medium enterprises by providing a stimulating environment for them through an integrated system of services and programs that connect them with service providers and support entities in the public and private sectors.

The number of establishments registered in the program has exceeded 3,250, with total revenues surpassing SR40 billion ($10.6 billion), according to available data.

890,000 employees in Jeddah’s establishments

Sami Al-Husseini, governor of Monshaat, reviewed during a meeting with entrepreneurs at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, the indicators of the small and medium enterprises sector in the governorate.

These indicators show that the number of workers in the sector reached 889,800 employees, while the number of establishments reached 138,091.

30,000 trainees and 3,200 opportunities

The data revealed the extent of benefit from Monshaat services in Jeddah, where the number of beneficiaries of training programs through the authority’s academy reached 30,300.

The Tomoh program registered 562 companies, while the number of investment opportunities presented reached 3,172 through commercial franchising. The number of beneficiaries of the center's services reached 1,487.

A total of 1,036 people benefited from the Josor service, and 3,380 from the Mazaya service, in addition to the issuance of 482 licenses for incubators and accelerators.

1,479 trademarks and 35,000 investment opportunities

The Commercial Franchise Center continues its efforts to raise awareness and develop the franchise model in Saudi Arabia, where the number of local franchisor trademarks reached 757.

The total number of trademarks operating in the sector reached 1,479, providing more than 35,000 investment opportunities.

Mazaya: SR71 million in financial savings for establishments

In terms of services, the Mazaya service provided over SR71 million in savings for beneficiary establishments, by offering more than 620 services.

More than 24,000 establishments benefited from these services, with an average discount rate of 37 percent, as part of supporting business sustainability and reducing operational costs.
