JEDDAH, 13 September — Saudi Aramco has registered considerable fall in the accident rates after the implementation of a new Traffic Safety program last year. The company vehicles covered a total of 255 million kms registering only 219 accidents, Okaz reported yesterday quoting a company report. The program reduced the accident rates by 20 percent compared to the previous year. It also pointed out that 31.5 percent of the accidents were caused by the mistakes committed by other drivers and 10.5 percent were caused by speeding.
