Fahd donates SR22m for varsity

JEDDAH, 23 July — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd has donated SR22 million to establish an Islamic university in the Ugandan capital Kampala, Okaz reported yesterday quoting Saud Al-Thubaity, the Kingdom’s charge d’affaires in Kampala. The Saudi envoy has handed over the key of the university building to Sheikh Yousuf Jasim Al-Haji, chairman of the university’s board of trustees, the paper said.
