JEDDAH, 12 July — Prince Sultan, the second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, has called on businessmen to look into the economic feasibility of Prince Sultan College in Taif and decide if they desire to be founding members in this vital project, Al-Watan newspaper reported.
In a letter addressed to a prominent group of businessmen, Prince Sultan, who is also the president of the college, expressed hope that the businessmen would look at the project from a purely investment viewpoint and see if it can yield "suitable" returns. He invited the businessmen to a meeting to be held at Khalidiah Palace, Jeddah, on Sept. 1. Prince Sultan said that the foundation stone for the project will be laid in October and the first batch of students will be admitted in September 2003. Phase 1 of the project, which will cover an area of 250,000 square meters, will include four faculties: medical school, nursing, health management and health information management. (SPA)
