Taxi driver arrested in burglary

JEDDAH, 30 May — Police have arrested an Arab taxi driver for alleged complicity in burgling a house in Jeddah’s Mushrifa district last Sunday, Al-Madinah daily reported. The arrest was made after the house owner, a Saudi, informed the police of the burglary. Three television sets and other valuables were stolen from the house. The house owner said the three fled in a taxi. However, he had noted the plate number of the taxi and informed the police.
