MADINAH, 3 December — Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, will inspect the expansion of the Prince Muhammad Airport in Madinah and open its new passenger lounges today. The expansion project was designed to help the airport handle 400,000 pilgrims during the upcoming Haj season. Dr. Ali Al-Khalaf, chief of the Presidency of Civil Aviation, said the expansion had covered three lounges that can now accommodate 16,400 pilgrims a day.
