25,000 unsafe tires seized

JEDDAH, 2 October - The Commerce Ministry's officials here seized 25,000 tires unfit for safe use. The ministry's anti-fraud squad found an expat trader selling 300 tires at prices ranging between SR50 and SR100 in the working-class district of Saoukh. Officials also raided a warehouse, which stocked 17,000 tires of very poor quality. The squad also seized 4,500 tires from another warehouse.
