Video shops granted grace period

JEDDAH, 31 July — Information Minister Dr. Fuad Al-Farsi has agreed to give a new grace period to Saudize jobs at video shops and technical recording and student service centers, according to Misfar ibn Saad Al-Misfar, assistant undersecretary for internal information at the Information Ministry. The ministry had earlier given these shops and centers a grace period of six months from June 22 but the shop owners demanded extension of the period to help them fulfill contract obligations. (SPA)
