JEDDAH, 13 February — Two charter planes brought in the first batch of 445 pilgrims from Sri Lanka earlier this week. The pilgrims were received by Ambassador Nowfel Saly Jabir and Consul General A.C.M. Ibrahim. The next flight will arrive tomorrow. In all, 25 flights are scheduled up to Feb. 26 to bring in nearly 7,000 pilgrims for the annual pilgrimage from the island state, according to the consul general.
