NAJRAN: The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) in Najran has started its seasonal plan for the Eid and summer vacations, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
“The plan aims at promoting tourism in the region through field visits to the region’s tourism facilities, intensified inspection and control visits to hotels, furnished apartments and motels, in addition to the activities carried out by travel agencies and tour operators,” said the general manager of SCTH Najran, Saleh bin Mohammad Al-Mereah.
“SCTH Najran seeks to continuously check the region’s tourism readiness, tourism facilities’ activities, housing services and ensure the existence of the necessary licenses,” he said.
“We are following up on complaints presented to the branch by guests and beneficiaries in order to find proper solutions according to the regulatory measures and the commission’s executive regulations.”
Najran boasts historic buildings, sites of archaeological interest, nature reserves and traditional markets.
