DUBAI: Global Village, Dubai’s seasonal tourist attraction, opens to the public on Tuesday, October 30, with newly improved attractions for residents and tourists.

Now on its 23rd season, the multicultural park will run 27 new pavilions, and will expand its representation of countries to 78 with the theme “Explore, Experience, Enjoy. This Way!”

Global Village officials said that an expansive program of entertainment, events, and cultural activities awaits guests, adding that global safety practices were implemented to ensure visitors of injury-free moments during their visit at the park.

“This season we enhanced the entire park for greater thrills and a refreshed experience. We enter a world of exploration, filled with adventures and fun for the whole family as we host even more exciting events and huge international shows to entertain our guests,” Bader Anwahi, CEO of Global Village, said.

Transportation to and from Global Village has also been improved, according to park officials, with partnerships with local transportation authorities in place, and upgraded entrances and parking areas.

The pavilions will showcase famous landmarks, authentic products, as well as cultural performances from each country or region.

A series of 23 concerts are lined up throughout the entire season, including one featuring American singer Jason Derulo.

Global Village will be open for 159 days or until April 6 next year, with gates ready to accept visitors from 4PM until midnight.
