Arab Parliament Federation calls for united Arab stance on Palestine and tackling terror

JEDDAH: The 27th conference of the Arab Parliament Federation confirmed today the importance of unifying the Arab position toward major issues — the Palestinian cause and combating terror.
The conference stressed the need to tackle tensions in the Arab world and create a common Arab economy.
In a final communique, the conference pointed out that the Palestinian people’s land is still occupied.
Support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people for the establishment of their independent state in Palestine with Al-Quds as capital was reiterated by the conference.
In a statement the conference strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Palestinian people and their land, sanctuaries and properties. It called on the world community, particularly the veto-holding countries of the UN Security Council, to put pressure on Israel to stops its crimes in Palestine.
The communique confirmed the right of Palestinians to return to their homeland from which they were deported. The Parliament stressed the need to work harder to oppose the Judaization policy of the Islamic sanctuaries in the city of Al-Quds and halt changing its genuine characteristics.
US President Donald Trump’s decision to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Al-Quds, and recognize it as Israel’s capital, was strongly criticized.
The conferees reiterated the Rabat conference accord states that the US is no longer an authenticated broker of peace in the Middle East since it proved itself to favor Israel. Tribute was paid to the Arab Parliament delegation to the Geneva Inter-Parliamentary Union conference which successfully convinced parliamentarians across the world to denounce the US policy changes on Israel.
