LONDON: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with 40 executives of US firms on Wednesday to review important Saudi-US investment opportunities, including the NEOM project.
The crown prince’s meeting comes after he signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SoftBank to establish the largest solar power plant in the world.
It is part of the crown prince’s ongoing tour of the United States, which has coincided with the Saudi-US CEO Forum which was held in New York on Tuesday.
Stephen Schwarzman, CEO of Blackstone Group LP, noted an event for the crown prince on Tuesday evening.
During his last day in New York, the crown prince will meet with technology companies. He will also visit Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle to cultivate investments, and is expected to host a banquet.
