BAGHDAD: A senior Iraqi parliamentary delegation is visiting Saudi Arabia in the context of rapprochement between Riyadh and Baghdad.
The delegation is expected to meet King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir.
The delegation will also hold meetings with Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh, the chairman of the Shoura Council, and members of the council.
The head of the Iraq-Saudi Friendship Committee stressed that the visit will witness the announcement about the formation of this committee which aims to enhance cooperation between representatives of the two nations, facilitate the work of governments, and set up agreements serving the interests of both countries.
