DUBAI: Beachgoers can be seen running away in panic as a giant wave lashes Dubai’s usually sunny shoreline, or so goes the newly-released trailer for Hollywood epic “Geostorm.”
The film is set to be released in October 2017 but fans were treated to a sneak peek of what’s in store when the trailer was released online this week.
Gerard Butler and Abbie Cornish star in the action flick which sees the lead head into space to prevent climate-controlling satellites from creating a storm of epic proportions while back on earth, a plot to assassinate the president must be stopped.
Dubai isn’t the only city to face the tsunami-like waves and destructive weather, Mumbai, Moscow and Rio de Janeiro are also battered by storms in the trailer.
