This is with reference to the article “Canada is back on track” by Gwynne Dyer (Oct. 24). It is a welcome change in Canada. Canadians of all hue are happy about it. The new prime minister, Justin Trudeau, is the son of former premier and Albert Einstein Peace Prize Winner, Pierre Trudeau. Justin a teacher by profession was first elected to the Canadian Parliament eight years ago and took office as the leader of the Liberal Party only in 2013. His election campaign centered around his famous quote: “Canada was built around a very simple premise. A promise that you can work hard and succeed and build a future for yourself and your kids and that the future for your kids would be better.”
He is reaching out to all communities living in Canada, which is a very positive approach and good for a diverse society.
