Red Sea Mall, described as Jeddah’s biggest shopping center and family entertainment district, recently received several awards, including the Best Shopping Mall of the Year 2015 and Best use of Social Media in Marketing, at the Asia Retail Congress (ARC) 2015 Retail Excellence Awards, underscoring the mall’s position as a leading regional retail center of excellence and innovation. It also won the Strategic Website for a Shopping Mall accolade at the 2015 Pan-Arab awards in Dubai.
Red Sea Mall Marketing Manager Bandar Abdul Majeed accepted the awards on behalf of the mall’s management at the ceremony, which was held on Feb. 14. “Red Sea Mall is very pleased to be recognized on such a global scale. The awards are testament to the hard work of Red Sea Mall’s management team.”
The award follows a very successful year for Red Sea Mall that witnessed many prestigious accolades for the shopping and entertainment district. These included awards for new media, social media, and marketing by the RLI and RECON, as well as awards from the PAN ARAB Web Awards event, and the MECSC and ICSC.
The important role Red Sea Mall plays in the economic and social development of Saudi Arabia was also acknowledged by the CMO, with the mall winning named the Most Admired Shopping Mall of the Year for best corporate social responsibility practices in 2014.
