Most of us dream of white sands, crystal clear, turquoise water and swaying palm trees with beautiful sunny weather for a perfect worry-free vacation. However, some beaches remain different and mysterious, with elements of awe-inspiring surprise. Such dreamy seashores are sure to make it to the top of your must visit list.
Natural walkway, Maldives
Here’s yet another reason to visit the Maldives. This amazing natural walkway is really quite a marvel. The Maldevian government is right to invest in such a wonderful site, which is seeing visitors flock into the country from all over the world.
Hidden Beach, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
A water tunnel Puerto Vallarta’s Marieta Islands leads swimmers to this sensational, deserted beach. This secluded strip of sand is believed to have formed decades ago when it was used as a target practice by the Mexican government in the early 1900’s. Spectacular marine life, Including humpback whales, dolphins and manta rays can be seen here. The islands are a protected natural reserve and visitors must have a permit in order to visit the hidden beaches.
Benagil Cave, Algarve, Portugal
Off the coast at the fishing village of Benagil, you will find several isolated caves and islands to explore. Benagil Cave, located 180 meters east of the beach, is one of the most spectacular due to its dimension, rock formations, textures and ever-changing light. The cave was formed by erosion and has two main entrances: a huge collapsed roof, an inner grotto and a beautiful, secluded sandy beach.
Whitehaven Beach, Whitsunday Island, Australia
Imagine a beach with sand so pure and white because its 98 percent pure silica. Then include rippling waves in 100 shades of turquoise and aquamarine that accompany the seven-kilometers stretch. Regularly voted one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Whitehaven Beach is on the east coast of uninhabited Whitsunday Island, an easy day trip from Hamilton Island. You can visit heaven on earth on a cruise, sail your own boat, or fly there by seaplane or helicopter.

The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef system, composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching over 2,600 km along Australia’s northeast coast. It is one of a few living structures visible from space and is probably Australia’s most remarkable natural gift.
Anse Source D’Argent, La Digue, Seychelles
Reputed to be the most photographed beach in the world, Anse Source D’Argent is a long stretch of golden soft white coral sands flanked by spectacular granite boulders. Swaying palm trees and calm seas also help to make this one of the most beautiful beaches on earth. Following the twisting pathways that lead away from the main beach, intrepid explorers can discover the hidden caves. The area is separated by towering boulders and secret caves.

At the base of steep, white cliffs on a hidden side of the Greek island of Zakynthos, there is a small and isolated, yet striking beautiful sandy cove lapped by some of the bluest water you’ll ever see. What’s more, Nacagio holds a surprise a shipwreck that is believed to have been a smugglers ship. Shipwreck Beach, defined by its sheer limestone cliff, white sand beaches and clear blue water can only be accessed by boat.

Edged by grand cliffs, it is known as one of the longest and most beautiful beaches in the world. Although it’s actually only six miles long, its called the seven-mile beach. There’s a great fresh juice bar right on the beach, where you can have your fresh local juice cocktail right by the shore.
